OUR STORY
KAHIKO began with a prayer to the Earth: asking to be shown the way back to its true resources. We create jewelry in collaboration with the perfection of nature’s designs; combining art, alchemy, and healing. Each piece honors the land as our original home, grounding the wearer while inviting greater radiance, connection, and remembrance of the Earth’s living intelligence.

MEET THE MAKERS

NikAyA
Nikaya is an multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of sound, movement, and ritual. Under their music alias shelajit, they explore ancestral memory, healing, and transformation—threads that gave birth to KĀHIKO. With a mother who was a jewelry maker and a father who is a designer, this work carries their lineage forward. Plants communicate with them through their textures and forms, which they honor by preserving as wearable art that reconnects us to the living Earth.
KEN

Ken is an alchemist, healer, and visionary businessperson. As KĀHIKO’s main lab technician, he helped bring this vision into form by offering structure, precision, and integrity to the alchemical process behind each piece. Passionate about health and healing, he is inspired by helping people feel more radiant while offering the frequency of gold and earth magic to support human vitality and remembrance.

We consider Maui our home, with generations of family rooted across the Hawaiian Islands and decades of relationship with Maui. At the same time, we acknowledge that Hawaiʻi is stolen land, and we exist here as visitors. Our intention is to move in integrity; with respect for the ʻāina, its people, culture and history. Honoring the land through mindful creation, reciprocity, and care.
